Cousine Island can only be reached by helicopter, or via Cousine's very own luxury boat, The Sunseeker Superhawk 43. Helicopter transfers can be organized to and from any heli stop, and boat transfers to and from any other island.

    The resident Seychellois Chef and Sous-Chef take great pride in creating cuisine to satisfy guests' individual tastes. Meals are prepared to order, and all ingredients are sourced locally, thus supporting a sustainable community, and of course bringing to you the freshest flavors from this unique culinary region. Creole cuisine is known to be refined and exotic, a mix of African and French influence. Fresh seafood and exotic spices feature prominently - the variety, color and artful blend of flavors will delight any palate.

    The Sunseeker Superhawk 43 is Cousine's very own James Bondesque vessel. Put it to good use with a half day or full day cruise around Praslin, La Digue and her many satellite islands.

    Cousine Island has a variety of Seychelles endemic birds, including the Seychelles Magpie Robin currently considered a critically endangered species.

    Island Walks

    Various paths around the island and into the forest and hill areas are outlaid on the island map which is provided in each villa. Guided walks with the Island Ecologists are available but walks can also be enjoyed alone.

    Fitness Center

    The Fitness Center is located in the Beach House and fitness equipment includes a multi-gym, rowing machine, sit-up bench, stair master, treadmill, individual weights, yoga mats and gym balls. Use of all equipment is complimentary.

    A Natural Wonderland
    Cousine island is 25 hectares (62 acres) in size and is 100% dedicated to the preservation of the Seychelles environment. The vegetation consists of 95% endemic plants and is home to more than 5 species of endemic land birds and 7 species of endemic seabirds - the remaining 5% of vegetation is made up of indigenous fruit trees and vegetable plants. Migratory birds consider the island home during 6 months of the year.

    Cousine Island's beach stretches from the most Northern point of the island to the most Southern tip of the island. Another beach forms during the North West Monsoon winds and is referred to as ‘Honeymoon Beach' due to its seclusion.
